Dear Clients, As you know, our local community has been particularly hard hit by the new coronavirus, COVID-19. As we face the challenges of combating this disease together, we want you to know that we are still up and running, and continue to be available to care for your pets. Rest assured, that we are doing everything we can to minimize any risk of exposure to, or spread of, the coronavirus. Our mobile unit is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each stop. We wash our hands with surgical disinfectant scrub frequently. And, although it's difficult for us, we avoid shaking hands and opt for the "elbow bump" instead. Our plan is to continue business as usual throughout our service area. However, if you or a household member has been diagnosed with coronavirus, or if you are under home quarantine, or you are not feeling well. please let us know. Although we may not be able to visit your pet at your home, we still may be able to assist you via phone or video call. We recognize that you may have questions and concerns about how the virus may impact your pets. Here is some important information that you should know:

Can I get coronavirus from my dog or cat? As of now, there’s no indication that dogs or cats are likely to carry or transmit the virus to humans. Nevertheless, it's still a good practice to always wash your hands after petting or picking up after your pet. |
Can my dog or cat get coronavirus from a person?Human-to-pet transmission seems to be quite rare and unlikely. However, there has been at least one case where a dog tested positive for the virus after being exposed to an infected human. Can my veterinarian test my pet for coronavirus?At this time, routine testing for pets is not available. If your pet has a cough, a fever, or is otherwise ill, please let us know. There are many other things that are far more likely to be causing those signs.My pet has an appointment, but I’m not feeling well.If you or anyone in your household is running a fever or showing other signs of illness, please stay home and take care of yourself.
