Brittmoore Welcomes Dr. Rhooms

We are thrilled to introduce you to Dr. Rhooms who has joined Brittmoore Animal Hospital! She is a wonderful and fun-loving addition to your pet's health care team.
A Brooklyn native, Dr. Rhooms tells us she grew up surrounded by animals, but never went to the vet.
After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Biology from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York, Dr. Rhooms worked with the ASPCA as an animal technician. She then traveled to London to attend the Royal Veterinary College and graduated in 2014 with a BVM degree. She took full advantage of her time in Great Britain to travel extensively.
After returning to NYC, she gained a lot of experience at numerous hospitals, then opened her own clinic in 2017.
Dr. Rhooms made a dramatic change again when she moved to Houston without ever having been here before.
Dr. Rhooms lives with 2 rescue cats (Joots and Toulouse) and two ferrets (Jacob and Wilhem -- Brothers Grimm authors). She loves large dogs, especially the Can Corso that she has had throughout the years. Her first Corso was her inspiration and traveled with her to England for school. He also became her logo for her clinic!
Dr. Rhooms strongly believes that the client should understand what treatments are being proposed for their pet and why. She considers it a privilege to work with the clients to develop a treatment plan together for difficult cases.

Please stop in to meet her anytime and show her a warm Brittmoore Animal Hospital welcome.
